After the four-year’s campus life, Peter and Mary fell in love with each other. When graduated, Peter started his new life at a company nearby the east coast, while Mary decided to continue her master’s study. It was the internet that closed the separation between the two young hearts. They shared photos and DVs, and poured out their hearts with each other by sending E-mails.
“One summer, Mary came to visit the city I worked during the vocation. It was an unforgettable happy time. We cleared up these photos together, only to find that they took up several gigabytes. We uploaded a great many of photos to the shared space. With the increase of photos and DVs, we realized that treasured possessions must be protected properly. In order not to miss any data, I decided to buy a portable hard disk for backup”.——Peter.
In spite of this, Peter and Mary still worried to reveal the data, after all, many photos were very private. Nobody was willing to leave out these treasured collections, for the simple reason of fearing the possible risks, because they would be safe just by encryption. Peter made up his mind to encrypt all of the data though the encryption software, however, he was still worried about these collections. Peter was in the hope that there was some kind of software to protect the story between Mary and him. He hoped this software was not too complicated, otherwise, Mary and he had to spend much time adapting to it. Meanwhile, the software must be convenient, and, especially, it could be handled though the internet, in that case, Peter can control these data at any time on business.
Peter was unwilling to set too many passwords. He had had too many passwords already, including passwords for E-mail, Blog, bank account, club member, and so on and so forth. Peter worried that he would forget or confuse some of passwords, if he set one for each protected file. Peter could not set the same password for each file, because that meant all files would be revealed once a password leaked out.
There must be such kind of software which could be helpful. Peter started to look for it, only to find that almost all software found applied the DRM technology which was too expensive for an individual. Regardless of economic factors, Peter was not sure whether he was capable enough of managing such a professional IT system. Until one day, Mary called to tell him that her classmate protected her photos and videos though
IDVAS. Peter quickly downloaded and installed IDVAS, and gladly to find that this system could satisfy all of his needs.
